Louder Than is a cultural event that will celebrate African-American songs and words that have brought us through the years. From the powerful words of Baldwin, to the haunting melodies of Simone, Louder Than will stir the soul and lift the spirit. This performance will feature the music of Marvin Thompson Jr. along with vocalist Ayana Thomas. Guests are invited to be a part of the Louder Than Community Ensemble, who will perform a collection of songs from the Civil Rights era.
